It started with 'Teddy'...
The AQHA stallion 'Teddy Tucker' is owned by Steve and Bridget Isle of Isle's
Quarter Horse Ranch. Their ranch is located just 18 miles southeast of
Sacramento, California, in the rolling hills of Wilton, which is just minutes
away from Rancho Murieta Equine Complex.
"We want our legacy to be having helped others have access
to a kind, reliable and always 'eager to please' horse like Teddy. One of our
greatest joys is watching the progress of his offspring and knowing we've helped
others to share the joy of riding talented, quality horses.

Teddy was sired by the 1985 Cow Horse Hall of Fame
inductee, 'Doc Tom Tucker'. Teddy's dam, 'Ann Hearn' is a granddaughter of
both King P-234 and Gold Rush. Teddy is a 1981 stallion and was first shown in
the 1984 CRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity by Elk Grove horse trainer, Gary Baumer.
Early in 1985, Teddy was sent to the ranch of world class
trainer, now retired, Ronnie Richards, in Clements, CA. Ronnie showed Teddy in
the 1985 CRCHA Snaffle Bit Maturity and the 1985 Idaho Snaffle Bit Maturity.
For several years, Teddy was used as a breeding stallion.
Because of consistent quality and personality of both stallion and offspring, as
reflected by those shown in both Appaloosa and Quarter Horse events, the Isle's
decided to return Teddy to the show circuit under the training of George and
Deanna Texeira of Galt, CA.
During the time Teddy was shown by George and Deanna, he
has achieved notable recognition in equine circles for not just athletic ability
and a lot of 'cow', but for his kindness, willingness, and noteworthy physique.
Local Reiners dubbed Teddy the 'Arnold Schwarzenegger' of reining horses because
of his muscular but athletic frame. Bridget Isle enjoys showing friends pictures
of Teddy in similar profile to pictures she has of horses in Teddy's lineage,
like Doc Tom Tucker, King P-234, and Three Bars.
Steve and Bridget Isle work with local trainers Ken Wold,
George and Deanna Texeira, who all are familiar with the attributes of Teddy's
